Ingredients:

1-1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon finely minced fresh basil
8 slices of crusty bread, sliced thick (about 3/4 inches)
16 to 24 fresh basil leaves, enough to cover bread slices
4 red-ripe, medium tomatoes, stem end removed
Salt (optional)
Ground black pepper

Directions:

1. Gently HEAT oil and garlic in small skillet over medium heat.
2. ADD minced basil and stir well.
3. REMOVE from heat and cool for about 10 minutes.
4. Lightly TOAST slices of bread and BRUSH lightly with the flavored oil.
5. PLACE two slices of bread, oil-side up, on a plate. LAY two or three fresh basil leaves on each slice
6. SLICE tomatoes and LAY slices over basil leaves.
7. SPRINKLE with salt, if you want, and black pepper.
8. While the nuggets are baking, PLACE the taco sauce and honey in a small glass microwave-safe bowl. STIR with a spoon to mix well.

Hint:
You can find fresh basil and garlic in the produce section of your supermarket.
