Exercise is really good for you, and there are all sorts of things you can do. As long as you’re getting about an hour a day, it’s cool. Try out some of these ideas:

One way to get your daily exercise is sports. There’s basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, swimming, tennis, golfing, bowling… well, you get the idea. Even gym class counts!

If sports aren’t your thing, there are all kinds of other things you can do on your own or with friends.  Instead of riding in a car, ride bikes, rollerblade, or walk to get somewhere. Give extreme sports a shot – bmx, skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding are all good ways to exercise. Get out into nature and go for a hike or just go exploring. Play disc-golf or fly a kite.

Help your parents out walk the dog, mow the lawn, go to the store on your bike! Then again, who says that all exercise has to be organized? Make up some games! We all know what basketball is, but what’s freeze flag jumpopoly? Only you can know. Invent your own ways to get out and be active!
